La Jolla Vow Renewal Inspiration That Embraces Tradition

Vow renewals and anniversary sessions are the perfect opportunity to capture moments that you might not have on your Big Day—and a really good excuse to document your growing love again! For Ariel and Sam that mean honoring their heritage by wearing their Hanboks (something they didn't do for their wedding). Natalie Bray captured their sweet connection and the best glowing golden hour light to perfection, as she always does.

From Natalie Bray Studios... When considering a vow renewal Ariel and Sam knew they wanted to incorporate their heritage by wearing their Hanbok as they did not get to at their celebration a year before. This was a way to honor their parents and grandparents as well. Also, Ariel is a very talented photographer herself and knew she wanted the beauty of film to capture this moment.

With light pastel colors leading the way with the Hanbok, the florist accented the look with the most stunning blooms that had pops of purple, pink, and cream. Ariel's ring was custom & we wanted to highlight that with a gorgeous grey blue ring box from The Mrs. Box.

We chose a location that would let the vibrant colors of the hanbok really shine and with the super bloom of wildflowers all over Southern California, we took advantage of natures beauty as well. This was such an honor to be a part of and these two are the most sincere and kind couple. Happy 1 year Anniversary!
