A Kylie Jenner x Kim Kardashian Makeup Collab Is Coming

It finally happened. Kim Kardashian is joining her sister Kylie Jenner's cosmetics brand with a "KKW X KYLIE" collaboration that is, per Kylie's Instagram video, "coming soon." The Insta below shows the sisters (who share parent Kris Jenner, but you knew that) looking more alike than they ever have while posing for a photo shoot and wearing approximately one thousand layers of Kylighter.
Kim isn't the first of the family to team with the youngest of the brood. Kylie previously collaborated with her sister Khloe back in November on a line of lipsticks with names like "Damn Gina" and "Okurrr" (a cute fuschia with a name that's awkward to say when people ask what you're wearing). Many young girls first start experimenting with cosmetics because they want to emulate their mothers or big sisters, so it makes sense that Kylie would bring the Kardashian gals into her company. They're probably her inspiration.
And let's be honest: Kylie's makeup line is as successful as it is because people want to look like a Kardashian. And no one's solidified that image more than Kim.
Kylie's lip kits have been a big seller for her in the past, but maybe working with Kim will allow her to expand into an older demographic. Kylie's famous to the Snapchat generation, but Kim has been on the cover of Vogue (and Glamour!).
Having a polished look is obviously important to the Kardashian-Jenner family. Kylie and Kendall recently revealed at Coachella (or Koachella, if you're them) that their mother made them get professional manicures every week when they were growing up. "She would have a nail artist come to the house once a week and she would make us get our nails done. She was like, ‘You are never going to look like you’re not put together.’," said Kendall in her first public appearance since her disastrous Pepsi commercial premiered.
While we wait for "soon" to come (we'll update this post once it does), let's brainstorm possible products and names for this collab, shall we? Hmmm...we're thinking a "Naked" or "Nude" lip shade in honor of Kim, who basically perfected the naked mirror selfie, and maybe a rosier color called "Sisters." And one called "Nails," a bronzing palette called "Kontour," and a gloss called "We have the same wig, so that's kool."
