Kylie Jenner and Stassie Dressed Up As 2003 Madonna and Britney Spears

Kylie Jenner may not have seen the infamous Britney Spears/Madonna kiss at the 2003 VMAs, but that doesn’t mean she can’t give an honorable tribute. Jenner and her friend Stassie Karanikolaou dressed as the duo, with Jenner taking on the Madonna role and Karanikolaou dressing as Spears, for Demi Lovato’s Halloween party in Los Angeles.

There were some literal bumps along the way, however. On the way to the party, Jenner’s car was involved in a little fender bender with another vehicle. Fortunately the only things injured were a few scrapes to the cars.

Jenner and Karanikolaou took their characters very seriously on Instagram, with Jenner posting a video of the two recreating the on-stage kiss.

It’s not the first time Jenner has channeled a mid-aughts pop star for Halloween. In 2016 she dressed up as Dirrty-era Christina Aguilera.

“Can I be XTINA forever,” she wrote on Instagram.

Jenner recently went viral after a clip of her singing “rise and shine” to her daughter Stormi surprised fans. Celebrities, including Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus, took turns covering the seconds-long tune. Never missing an opportunity to make a business move, Jenner then trademarked the phrase and has started selling accompanying merch. Perhaps a “rise and shine” world tour is on the way? She can always get Stassie to open for her.
