Kylie Jenner Speaks Out for the First Time on Jordyn Woods Lip Kit Controversy
The controversy between the Kardashian-Jenners and Jordyn Woods has been the story that we just can't look away from, no matter how long it drags on and who says what. This is especially true after The New York Times published a profile on the Kardashians. In the piece, Jenner commented on the fact that the Jordy Lip Kit on the Kylie Cosmetics website was put on sale following rumors that Woods had an affair with Khloé Kardashian's boyfriend, Tristan Thompson.
“That is just not my character. I would never do something like that and when I saw it, I was like, thrown back,” Kylie told the Times. “Jordyn knows I didn’t actually put it on sale.”
She added that she called an employee at her company as soon as she heard that the lip kit had been marked down from $27 to $13.50. She said the sale happened because the company switched from white to black packaging and that it had nothing to do with her family's current tension with Woods.
Whatever the reason, the lip kit is currently sold out on the website at the regular price of $27.
As for Jenner and Woods, things might turn around yet. The two reportedly met for breakfast in Calabasas earlier this month, and it looks like a renewed friendship is not off the table.
“Their friendship is not 100 percent over,” a source told People then. The source went on: “Although she doesn’t live at Kylie’s, Jordyn still has things there. She and Kylie aren’t socializing, but are in contact. They are texting each other.”
