Kylie Jenner Shows Off Extra-Long Braid on Instagram
Kylie Jenner is undoubtedly a total hair chameleon; the reality star and makeup designer is known for changing up her look at a moment’s notice, going from a highlighter yellow lob to candy-colored tresses in a snap. Fans rarely get a peek at her real hair, as the 22-year-old has an affinity for wigs and extensions alike. But it seems as though Kylie might have reached peak Kylie — even for her — with her latest ‘do: a singular braid that’s longer than she is tall.
The youngest Jenner sister debuted the look on Instagram on Sunday, March 1, posing on a diving board next to a swimming pool. The tail-like braid in question hangs down her back before swirling on the concrete below her feet. Kylie captioned the pic with a pair of emojis, tagging celeb stylist Jesus Guerrero in the snap.
From the comments, it seems as though no one is really sure how to feel about this look. “Thought this was a snake at first glance,” wrote Jamie Lynn Spears, while Normani quipped: “So this is what we’re doing. Got it.” Even Kylie’s big sis Khloé Kardashian had something to say about the braid: “Don’t ever call me extra again.”
If there’s one thing to be said here, it’s that Kylie does not shy away from making Choices with a capital “C” when it comes to her style. And while we’re a little worried that she might trip over that braid (it’s really long, folks), we can’t help but wonder if this might inspire her upcoming Kylie Hair line. Shampoos, conditioners, and…extensions, maybe? Dare to dream! Per official documents, “Kylie Hair” was trademarked on February 6, 2020, so hopefully there’s not too much longer to wait until we find out what Kylie has up her sleeve next.
