Kylie Jenner Reveals How She Reconciled with Jordyn Woods

Kylie Jenner opened up about the lead-up to her public reunion with estranged best friend Jordyn Woods.

In a conversation recently published in Interview, Jenner talked to Jennifer Lawrence about how her friendship with Woods has changed since Tristan Thompson, Khloé Kardashian's ex-boyfriend, allegedly made a move on Woods back in 2019.

“My last question is a little intense, but we all want to know,” Lawrence told the Kylie Cosmetics mogul. “Obviously, there was a huge trauma many years ago, but we’ve recently seen that you are friends with Jordyn [Woods] again. How is that? How did that happen? What up?”

“Jordyn and I, we always stayed in touch throughout the years and we would meet up at my house and catch up and just talk through everything,” Jenner replied, revealing that the two had “never fully cut each other off.”

This past July, Jenner and Woods made their first public joint outing together since the scandal. “One day, naturally, we were like, we want to get sushi and we don’t want to hide anymore,” Jenner continued. “There’s a learning lesson in everything, and I think that in a weird way, everything happens how it’s supposed to happen. We were so attached at the hip that we needed space to grow into the people that we were supposed to be. I needed that independence and that confidence because she was like my security blanket for so long.”

Back in 2019, outlets reported that Thompson cheated on Kardashian with Woods at a party. Following the reports, Kardashian broke up with Thompson and publicly exiled Woods—though Kardashian later reconciled with the NBA player.

Woods denied sleeping with Thompson during a guest appearance on the Red Table Talk podcast with family friend Jada Pinkett Smith. “Never once was I giving him a lap dance, making out with him, sitting all over him. It’s just, we’re all together, we’re in a group. Never once did we leave the public area, go to a bedroom, go to a bathroom. We’re all in plain sight,” she said, adding that Thompson had kissed her as she was leaving the party. “On the way out, he did kiss me. It was a kiss on the lips, but no tongue kiss, no making out, nothing. And I don’t think that he’s wrong either, because I allowed myself to be in that position, and when alcohol’s involved, people make dumb moves or people get caught up in the moment.”
