Kylie Jenner Revealed That She and Jordyn Woods Never Actually Lost Contact After the 2019 Tristan Thompson Scandal

Her revelation comes just months after the pair was spotted grabbing sushi together in July.

While Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods’s summer sushi date may have shocked the internet when it took place back in July (years after their very public falling out went down in 2019, mind you), the Kardashians star just revealed that she and Woods never actually lost contact with one another in the years that followed that famous feud.

In a new interview with Interview magazine, Jenner sat down with Jennifer Lawrence to talk about how she navigated her relationship with Woods in the weeks, months, and years after Tristan Thompson allegedly cheated on Khloé Kardashian with the family friend.

“My last question is a little intense, but we all want to know,” Lawrence warned the Kylie Cosmetics founder. “Obviously, there was a huge trauma many years ago, but we’ve recently seen that you are friends with Jordyn [Woods] again. How is that? How did that happen? What up?”

Jenner took the direct question in stride, revealing that she and Woods “never fully cut each other off.”

“Jordyn and I, we always stayed in touch throughout the years and we would meet up at my house and catch up and just talk through everything,” she shared. “One day, naturally, we were like, we want to get sushi and we don’t want to hide anymore. There’s a learning lesson in everything, and I think that in a weird way, everything happens how it’s supposed to happen.”

Kylie continued, “We were so attached at the hip that we needed space to grow into the people that we were supposed to be. I needed that independence and that confidence because she was like my security blanket for so long.”

The beauty mogul’s revelation comes two years after her sister Khloé publicly forgave Woods for the scandal during a Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion show. “​​I don't have any grudge against Jordyn,” Kardashian shared at the time. “I think people make mistakes. People live and they learn. And I forgive both parties.
