Kylie Jenner’s Nail Artist Dropped the Perfect Summer Nail Tutorial

If you swooned over Kylie Jenner's holographic beach nails during her family vacation to Turks and Caicos, you're in luck, because her nail artist is sharing all the details behind the mesmerizing mani so you can recreate it this summer.
Kylie Jenner's go-to manicurist, Zola Ganzorigt, dropped the tutorial for Jenner's "vacation nails", and we're obsessed with the glimmering, color-shifting aesthetic. "We played with color and chrome orders and made every nail different using one coat of base color," wrote Ganzorigt on Instagram, adding that she then applied a "similar color effect chrome powder on top" for shimmer and shine.
While it's entirely possible to DIY this mani at home, you may have to take this tutorial video to the nail salon, as Ganzorigt uses a variety of chrome powders and magnetic polishes, which are typically available to the pros. (Ganzorigt used products from Énoi Nails.) First, Ganzorigt applied a coat of frosty color to the nail, then set it with a magnetic tool to give it that unique, prismatic finish.
After the nails were set, she applied a coat of chrome powder, then wiped it off and sealed them with a top coat. The final touch was a Chanel Chance Hand Cream to moisturize the hands and cuticles and leave them smelling as good as they look. For a similar vibe with fewer steps, try one of Essie's Nail Art Studio Special Effects polishes, which are meant to be worn solo or layered.
While Jenner's set was colorful and opalescent, you could easily customize your own Kylie-inspired mani with your favorite shades — even if you're not heading off on a fancy tropical vacation with your famous family.
