Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods Have ‘Texted a Bit’ Since the Scandal
It turns out that even though the bulk of the Kardashian family completely cut off communication with Jordyn Woods after Tristan Thompson cheated by kissing her, Kylie Jenner has not. TMZ reported this morning that while Jenner and Woods have "barely communicated," there has been some dialogue between the two former best friends.
Multiple sources told the outlet that the two have "have texted a bit." This is consistent with what Jordyn Woods said during her Red Table Talk interview, when Jada Pinkett Smith asked her if she had spoken to Jenner. "I have," Woods said. "I told her I was coming to the Table today. I think at this point, it’s gone too far and enough is enough. And when the safety of the people I love is in jeopardy, I have to to speak."
People reported this weekend that Jenner was still very, very upset about the Woods scandal. “Kylie had a rough week,” the source said, also citing her accusing her boyfriend Travis Scott of cheating on her. “She is still devastated about Jordyn and had an argument with Travis after she checked his phone and saw something that she didn’t like.”
That something, according to TMZ, was "a number of what she deemed 'overly friendly' DMs between him and several women with whom he'd been chatting," the outlet wrote. Scott defended them as amounting to nothing more than innocent flirting and deleted his Instagram to prove his loyalty to Kylie Jenner. Before their argument, Scott and Jenner had been on the cusp of getting engaged.
A source told People in January that although Jenner was “taking marriage at a more cautious pace after seeing her sisters’ past relationships fail," she was sure about Scott then. “Things are in a great place with Travis,” the source said. “They’re always together and just really happy.”
