Kylie Jenner gave us all a 'house tour' of her $36 million mansion – but it wasn't what we expected

Over the weekend, one of Kylie Jenner's 52.8 million followers requested a tour of her $36 million estate – but they received something slightly more pared-back.

The media personality – and youngest Kardashian-Jenner sibling – moved into her mansion in the prestigious Holmby Hills in 2020 – and since then, she has shared occasional snippets of certain rooms on social media. However, she had never offered a 'house tour' until she finally gave in to requests this weekend... well, sort of.

'I'm not going to do a full house tour, but I'll show you what room I'm in. I'm in my home bar right now, and I like it because it has this pretty light,' Kylie says in the footage (below). We agree that her light is very pretty, and we have found an almost-identical match on 1Dibs here.

As one of the world's best homes, it is no surprise that the bar area is one of the most impressive we've ever seen – complete with a (surprisingly) gray shiplap wall and chic white marble kitchen countertops. However, despite not offering a full house tour, we were treated to a look around more than just her bar.

Kylie then progressed to the open-plan room that flows from the bar area. Reportedly, the whole home spans only one story – but it is certainly not on the small side. The expansive property comprises 15,000 square feet and includes seven bedrooms and two guest apartments.

The designer of her Holmby Hills specifically remains unclear, but we'd hazard a guess that Martyn Lawrence Bullard has some impact on her decorating choices. The British-born designer created her Hidden Hills residence, which is notably more colorful than the Holmby Hills property in the 'tour.'

In her living room, Kylie has used a more neutral decorating palette – complete with a large light gray sofa, a dark wooden table, and patterned white and brown carpet. In this space, Kylie also shows a 'game' she has constructed on her wooden counter before walking to the star of the tour: her white piano.

'I'm gonna learn how to play. My daughter plays the piano; she has piano lessons every week,' Kylie shared while sitting on the piano stool in the corner of her room. 'I'm gonna learn. I decided this summer I'm gonna learn how to play piano.'

A look at the piano concluded her mini tour, but of course, we were left wanting more. But what else do we know about her home? Alongside the wet bar, Kylie's fortress-like estate has a giant home theater, a gym, and a games room. There is also a large chef's kitchen that reportedly plays host to a stylish European-style cabinetry and top-of-the-range appliances, naturally.
