Kylie Jenner Explains Why You Hardly Ever See Her With Travis Scott
Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are the proud parents of Stormi Webster, and have been going strong for around a year. But it’s rare you ever see the couple together in public, aside from a basketball game or a casual trip to the Met Gala. It turns out there’s an important reason why.
The couple just had their first photoshoot together, and sat down for a joint interview with GQ to open up about their relationship. And writer Mark Anthony Green noticed that while of course Kylie jumped right into the photo shoot, Travis was less comfortable getting his picture taken. To the point that Green called it “medieval torture” for Travis.

It’s that difference when it comes to living in the public eye that has defined their relationship. And that’s how Kylie plans to combat what Scott Disick once called the “Kardashian Curse:” how men datnig Kardashian-Jenner women end up dealing with a ton of drama, because they can’t handle their crazy-intense levels of fame.

“I don't think he's really cool with [the scrutiny], but he deals with it, because we love each other and we have a family. For sure, I know he doesn't like the attention,” Kylie said. “That's why we just go the extra mile to keep our relationship super private, or like, if he has events or something, I won't come. Because I want him to do his own thing. I want him to be him. I don't want it to be Kylie and Trav. If people don't ever see us together, that's okay with me, because we just do our thing.”

Kylie noted they both work hard on their relationship, and she even bailed on an interview to fly to see Travis in Houston after they had a fight. As for Travis, he has a little bit more of a concise take on the whole “Kardashian Curse” idea. “I don't even be looking at motherfuckers. I don't be looking at shit,” he said. “Kylie actually likes me for me.”
The couple also filmed a video for GQ, in which Kylie quizzes Travis on how well he knows her. The video is actually really cute (they talk about peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for several minutes!) but Travis needs to brush up on his Kylie trivia, since he didn’t remember the names of three of her dogs-or how many tattoos she has.
