Kylie Jenner Explains the Eye-Catching Décor on Her Walls
Kylie Jenner recently opened the doors to her Hidden Hills house for Architectural Digest where she showed off her gorgeous art collection, fancy furniture, and dining room chairs upholstered to match certain shades of Kylie Lip Kits. One thing she didn’t reveal, though, was what was going on with her walls — but don’t worry, because if you’ve always wondered what’s up with Kylie’s wall décor on her Instagram Stories, she’s going to tell you about it. Just don’t ask her about it ever again, OK?
Kylie addressed her unique wallpaper after posting a pic of her outfit to her feed on Saturday, March 16. In the 'gram, you can see that something’s going on with the walls, but it’s hard to tell what exactly it is. In her Stories, Kylie shared that her walls are not covered in fingerprints from baby Stormi or an accidental spill that wouldn’t wash off. The walls are actually covered in a fancy wallpaper with metallic rose gold detailing!
“For those who always ask, it’s a wallpaper and it’s like rose gold splatters all over my walls,” Kylie explained, showing the pretty paper up close. “I don’t ever want to see this f*cking question again.” It seems that rose gold is still trending Chez Kylie, and we have to be honest — though the wallpaper caught us off guard at first, it’s really beautiful up close.
The wallpaper isn’t the only eye-catching detail of Kylie’s pic; she’s wearing a pretty intense outfit for what looks to be a casual night at home. “My friends: Let’s have a chill night. Me:” she jokingly wrote in the caption. Bedazzled shoes, diamond skinny sunglasses and a major statement necklace are definitely not what I wear to hang out at my house on a Saturday evening, but maybe I’ll start!
Kylie paired her flashy accessories with what looks to be a thermal jumpsuit with a cutout — definitely a unique look, but when it comes to style, we’re always keeping up with Kylie. We wouldn’t be surprised if rose gold wallpaper is the biggest interior design trend of 2019 after this.
