Kylie Jenner did something no other Kardashian-Jenner with a birthday during the coronavirus pandemic has done so far: Have a relatively low-key celebration. Jenner turned 23 yesterday. While she got many tributes from her family on Instagram, no big party appears to have been held...yet. No family member posted any Instagrams from one, anyway.
Jenner did, however, share a glimpse at the intimate birthday dinner out at Nobu she had with friends last week and some of the gifts she received at home on her actual birthday (think: big floral arrangements and a crystal-adorned XXIII corset).
On Wednesday night, Jenner posted Instagram Stories of herself maskless and out with friends at Nobu Malibu, a favorite spot of the family's during the coronavirus pandemic. Los Angeles, for what it's worth, is under a safer-at-home order. The city has had high coronavirus rates and is requiring its residents to wear masks in public whenever they can't keep six feet apart from non-household members.
L.A. is still allowing outdoor dining only and for masks to be removed when people are eating or drinking.
Jenner had cake with her friends and wore a white crop top with a black jacket.
On Sunday, Jenner shared glimpses of some of the gifts she had received on the day before her birthday. She had giant "HBD Kylie" letters in her house and two massive floral arrangements:
And yesterday, she shared a photo of herself with her daughter Stormi blowing out her "XXIII" cake candles at home. She wore a custom Bryan Hearns nude corset and skirt with XXIII written on them in hundreds of Swarovski crystals. Hearns told Page Six that the retail value of the corset is $950. "I spoke to her stylist Jill Jacobs about how she wanted something nude with crystals that incorporated her age 23," Hearns told the outlet via email.

Jenner's low-key birthday aside, the Kardashian-Jenners haven't acted too bothered by the pandemic—or government guidelines to avoid big social gatherings—when celebrating other birthdays and holidays this year. Tristan Thompson and Khloé Kardashian threw a big Fourth of July party last month. Kylie Jenner threw a pink-themed party for Khloé Kardashian's birthday in June. And most of the family, including Kylie Jenner, ignored California's non-essential travel ban to take a trip to Wyoming for North West's birthday in June.
