Kylie Jenner and best friend recreate famous Britney Spears and Madonna VMA kiss for Halloween

Kylie Jenner and one of her best friends, Stassie Karanikolaou, upped the sex appeal for Halloween this year by channeling one of the most iconic (and pulse-racing) pop star moments to date: Madonna and Britney Spears' onstage smooch at the 2003 Video Music Awards.

You probably don't need a refresher, but in case you do, the eye-popping scene unfolded onstage at the VMAs as Britney and Christina Aguilera sang backup vocals for Madonna's "Hollywood." Mid-performance, Madonna locked lips with both women.

More than 15 years later, Kylie and Stassie recreated the moment — with a bit more silliness.

In a video posted on Instagram, the ladies strut their stuff to "Like a Virgin" wearing outfits that channel Brit and Madonna's bride-and-groom ensembles. Kylie's rocking a low blonde bun and all-black clothing while Stassie sports a white corset. The two then share a quick peck on the lips before they burst out laughing.

The Jenners and Kardashians are known for pulling out all the stops each Halloween, and it's clear 2019 will be no exception. They usually showcase several different looks, including individual costumes and group ones. Their children are also Halloween pros in their own right. (Little North always kills it!)

Last year, all of the sisters stepped out as Victoria's Secret Angels, because honestly, why wouldn't they?
