Impeachment Witness Turley Claims Home, Professorship Threatened during Testimony

Marcia: I agree with Turley that the whole process should be more civil and impartial on both sides. I also agree that the impeachment inquiry should be more thorough. Unfortunately, the best witnesses who have direct knowledge of what happened have been prevented from testifying. If they could actually exonerate the president, we could stop the process right now. Trump says he would be happy to have them testify in the actual impeachment trial, which he believes will be more fair. We will have to wait until then to see what they have to say. If the process is fair, as Trump hopes, then the senators should listen to the evidence with an open mind and vote according to the evidence presented. They should ignore whatever was said in the meeting Trump had with Republican senators to strategize an acquittal.
