Kyle Richards is advocating for herself in the midst of online criticism about her weight.

In case you missed it, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star became the subject of public scrutiny earlier this week after she appeared looking strikingly thin in a new set of Instagram photos.

The since-deleted post, originally shared by her co-star Dorit Kemsley, showed Richards, 54, sucking in her stomach while posing alongside a group of her fellow cast-mates. But users online were quickly alarmed by the Scream star's appearance, as her rib cage was extremely visible through the cutouts in her dress.

But now Richards has broken her silence on the situation, replying to a comment a fan under an Instagram post made by Page Six on Thursday, May 5. The commenter in question came to Richards' defense, prompting the Bravo star to write back, "Thank you 🙏🏼 I appreciate that so much."

She then explained, "The picture they're referring to I was sucking in because of the type of dress I had on. Which I see now was a not a good look."

Though she acknowledged the strange way she was posing, Richards stood up for herself in terms of her current body weight, telling followers, "I am actually a healthy weight. I eat very well & workout every day."

"Anyone who knows me can attest to that," she added, and her loyal fans seemed to be in full agreement, as many of them rushed to continue defending her against the online "body shaming."

"We love you Kyle, don't mind the haters!" one person encouraged, while another added, "Stay happy and remove all this toxic energy."

Richards has frequently found herself tangled up in rumors that she uses Ozempic, a diabetic medication that can cause weight loss. But even though she's lost a significant amount of weight, the reality star has been adamant that it's all due to healthy dieting and exercising.

Richards has already called out RHONJ star Melissa Gorga, who previously insinuated that Richards was taking the drug because of her weight loss, though she did later issue an apology for the assumption.
