Krysten Ritter Has Returned to Her Signature Fringe and All Is Right in the World Once More
While hair chameleons like Salma Hayek Pinault are showing off a new hair color seemingly every time they hit the red carpet, other celebs stick to what works, developing their own signature style. Krysten Ritter once fell into the latter category, rocking jet black tresses with her go-to set of fringe for many moons — until one day, she grew it out.
For the last several years, the Bonfire author has been steering clear of the bangs that once defined her look, opting instead for a one-length, middle-parted or side parted ‘do that á la her Marvel character of Jessica Jones.
Now, it seems she’s reclaiming the trending hairstyle she was once synonymous with, showing us all how it’s done over on Instagram.

She also gave us a look of her hair while down via Instagram stories (along with a snazzy new sweater that she knitted for herself).
Prior to this, her last major tress change came in 2014, when she cut off a foot of hair.
“I felt like my hair was very glamorous and I didn’t want my [career] to be about that,” she told Byrdie at the time. “I wanted it to be about me and not my hair anymore.”
With her first novel, a budding production company called Silent Machine, several hit Netflix shows and blockbuster movie titles under her belt, we have a sneaking suspicion that won’t be an issue.
