Kristin Chenoweth

Kristin Chenoweth is not happy with Starbucks.

The 55-year-old actress and singer took to social media earlier this week to plead with the company for clarity on the whereabouts of what appeared to be one of her favorite Starbucks items.

"Dear @starbucks why did you get rid of the new potatoes egg and cheese bite thingies? #heartbroken," she shared via X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, March 4.

The coffeehouse didn't publicly respond, but fans of the nationwide cafe did.

"Did my partner write this?" one joked. "Him and Kristin should meet to talk about this."

"She's the most real celebrity ever, I love her with all my heart," someone else shared in response.

"And the banana bread, I bloody loved it toasted," a third replied, also tagging the Wicked star and Starbucks.

"I hope they don't get rid of the French [Vanilla] too, cause it's my favorite," another wrote back.

While the menu item Chenoweth is referring to–the new Potato, Cheddar & Chive Bakes–is still listed on the Starbucks website, it's marked as "unavailable," "sold out," or "not sold at" stores in several metropolitan areas including New York City, Dallas, Chicago, Austin, Denver, Nashville, Minneapolis and Phoenix. That said, the item still appears to be available at some locations in Los Angeles and Miami.

So while the item seems so popular it's hard to come by, fans can rest assured it hasn't been officially discontinued—at least not yet. Those who have some extra time on their hands can always resort to making a copycat version of the egg bites at home.
