Kristin Cavallari Hits Back at Jay Cutler’s Comments About Partying Post-Divorce Settlement

Looks like Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler’s divorce settlement has finally gone through, and—in case you missed it, which, fair enough—Jay recently revealed he “threw a party” when he got the news.
“When the settlement came through, I threw a party,” he said on his podcast Uncut With Jay Cutler, adding, “I don’t recommend divorce for anybody. I’m just gonna go ahead and say that, but, um, it worked out. It worked out for Kristin. It worked out for me, so it is what it is.”
Naturally, TMZ wasted no time catching up with Kristin while she was minding her own business at the airport, and when they asked about Jay’s comments, she shot back, “I’ve been partying for two years straight” (pls note, their divorce filing was in April 2020, so…almost exactly two years ago, lol).
Reminder: Kristin and Jay actually dated again post–divorce filing, which she revealed to Kaitlyn Bristowe on Off the Vine (via Page Six), saying they went on several dates but she “decided I didn’t want to be in a toxic relationship anymore.”
“The thing with Jay is, we aren’t getting our divorce because of love lost, right, which made it really challenging because we were crazy about each other,” she explained. “And so I just decided I didn’t want to be in a toxic relationship anymore and I had to break it off. But that’s made it hard and made me sit here and question it for a few months. But then going back and dating him a little bit made me reaffirm it like, ‘No, I know that I’m doing the right decision.’”
