Kristen Stewart Wore a Cozy Sweater Dress on the Red Carpet

The actress attended the premiere of her new film “Jeremiah Terminator LeRoy” at the Toronto Film Festival.

The words “comfort” and “red carpet” don’t often go hand-in-hand. Whether it’s the ultra long train designed for step and repeats or the towering stilettos worn underneath them, it’s safe to say looking the part of a movie star trumps any sense of fashion practicality. But what if an easy, everyday fall staple like a sweater dress made its way into the world of eveningwear? Actress Kristen Stewart certainly made the case this weekend, attending the premiere of her new film Jeremiah Terminator LeRoy at the Toronto Film Festival wearing an elevated take on the style.

For the film’s premiere, Stewart wore a cozy white sweater dress by Chanel, a favorite label of hers, that was embellished with rows and rows of reflective sequins. The easy silhouette, which has also been seen on It girls such as Bella Hadid, was given more of a red carpet feel here with a slightly dropped waist and a flowy hemline. Stewart accessorized the look with pointed black mules with a PVC strap and a simple silver chain necklace that was tucked underneath the rounded collar. Easy and simple, yes, but very much modern.
