Kristen Stewart was a Chanel cool girl this week in Monte Carlo.

The actress attended the French fashion house's Cruise 2021 show in Monaco Thursday, alongside fellow brand darlings Vanessa Paradis and Tilda Swinton.

Stewart looked like a chic party girl in a black-and-white sequined minidress with maroon and navy stripes. She paired the piece with sheer black tights and matching platform open-toe heels. Her hair was pulled back into a high ponytail, and she went for a rosy, smoky-eyed beauty look. The Spencer star's only jewelry was her engagement ring (she is set to marry girlfriend Dylan Meyer).

As the day went on, Stewart covered up with a black-and-white houndstooth tweed jacket—a Chanel classic.

Stewart, who was Karl Lagerfeld's longtime muse, has been an ambassador for Chanel since 2013—when she starred in the advertising for the Métiers d'Art Paris-Dallas collection—and remains the face of Chanel Makeup.

Las December, the short film Once and Forever, shot by Lagerfeld and starring Stewart as the lead, screened at the Métiers d'Art fashion show in Rome.

After Lagerfeld's death in 2019, Stewart told Vanity Fair that the designer was not "austere" and "scary," like many thought. "He was incredibly inviting—insanely, shockingly unpretentious," she said.

Stewart has continued her partnership with Chanel since then, and praised the brand's current creative director, Virginie Viard, last year, telling Harper's Bazaar UK about her Métiers d’art collection: "This clearly was designed by, created by, built by a woman, and I could feel it."

This year, Stewart walked the 2022 Oscars red carpet—where she was nominated for Best Actress—in head-to-toe Chanel, sporting a custom black satin shorts suit.

"With Chanel, I’ve never been made to feel like I was telling a story that wasn’t being pulled out of me in a really honest way," she told VF.
