Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson Had a ‘Twilight’ Reunion

This was not on my 2023 bingo card.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson may have called it quits 10 years ago, but they just proved exes can be friendly and on good terms after all those years. During a recent interview on Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast, Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke, revealed that in May, Pattinson’s 37th birthday party turned out to be a Twilight reunion no one saw coming, not even the birthday boy.

"Strangely enough, I went to Rob's birthday party recently,” she said. “I kinda crashed with my friend Toni Collette, who had just done a movie with him.”

But the most shocking guest to crash Pattinson’s birthday bash was his ex, Stewart. "We had a fun thing, and then Kristen crashed it, too,” she shared. “That was just a few months ago, and it was just like, 'Oh my god!' We all hugged each other — like, this is so crazy and cool."

She added, “When Kristen walked into Rob’s birthday she’s like ‘Catherine? Rob’s birthday? What’s going on?’ I go, ‘I kinda crashed it with Toni.’ And she goes, ‘Well, I crashed it, too.’ ”

The 2008 film’s director revealed that Stewart “rang the bell at the gate,” and Pattinson welcomed her immediately.

Their epic reunion, which Twilight fans have been dying for, comes a decade after they ended their real life relationship. Their romance lasted throughout all five of the movies. Stewart is currently engaged to fiancée Dylan Meyer and Pattinson is expecting his first child with his girlfriend, Suki Waterhouse.
