Kristen Stewart and Dylan Meyer Matched in Black During First Appearance in NYC After Engagement News
Kristen Stewart and her fiancée, Dylan Meyer, made their first appearance in New York City together after Stewart shared news of their engagement just hours after the news broke. The two were photographed, both complementing each other in black ensembles. Stewart paired a blackucoat with a white top and v-neck cropped black sweater. She completed the look with jeans. Meyer wore a plaid gray skirt with a gray coat, black sweater, and sheer black tights. Both wore matching black masks.
Stewart spoke to Howard Stern on his SiriusXM radio show about their engagement yesterday. The two have been dating for two years and Stewart knew just months into their relationship that she wanted to marry Meyer.
“We're marrying, we're totally gonna do it,” Stewart said. “I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted and she nailed it. We're marrying, it's happening.”
Of the proposal, Stewart said, “I wasn't specific at all. It's not a given that I would be the one. You know what I mean? With two girls, you never know like who's going to fulfill what weird fucking gender role thing. We don't do that or think about it in those terms. She just grabbed that bowl and made it happen. It was fucking so cute.”
Stewart told Stern in November 2019, just months after she and Meyer started dating in summer 2019, that she saw herself proposing to Meyer. “[I] can't fucking wait” to propose to Meyer, Stewart said.
“Yeah, I want to be, like, somewhat reasonable about it, but I think good things happen fast,” Stewart continued, telling Stern that she already had a plan for how she'd propose. “I can't say right now, because she'll find out.” Ultimately, Meyer popped the question.
