Kristen Bell Shares the 'Revolting' Gift Her Daughter and Husband Left Her

Kristen Bell's family apparently comes bearing gifts—though they're not exactly the type of presents anyone would hope to unwrap.
Instead, Bell's husband Dax Shepard and their daughter Lincoln left a not-so-pleasant surprise for the Veronica Mars alum, which she revealed to her followers in a new Instagram video posted earlier this week.
In the clip, Bell, 43, opens a note from her husband and eldest daughter that was left for her on her bathroom sink. "Look how sweet my family is," the Frozen actress sarcastically stated in the beginning of the video, before going on to read the contents of the clever, yet very deceiving letter.
"It says, 'Dear mom, me and Dad went fishing in the shower drain and dad caught a fish and I caught a minnow. I know you love fish, so me and dad are going to hand them over to you!'"
Bell then panned the camera over to the aforementioned "fish," which ended up actually being clumps of hair found in the shower drain.
"Absolutely revolting," the Good Place star could be heard saying as she zoomed the camera in on the nasty wads of hair. Talk about a gag gift!
"How generous," she wrote in her Instagram caption, full of obvious sarcasm.
"An absolute affront," one of her followers quipped in the comments, while someone else tried to keep the prank going by chiming in, "We just got a fish tank if you need pointers on how to set them up 😂."
"Lol, that’s so disgusting but Lincoln’s humor is nothing short of genius. 😂" another person added of Bell and Shepard's 10-year-old daughter. The spouses—who have been married since 2013—are also parents to a younger daughter, Delta, age 8.
