Krispy Kreme Has New Mini Dessert-Inspired Donuts, Including Strawberry Cheesecake

Mini donuts first came to Krispy Kreme in January 2020, and since then, it’s debuted a spring-inspired collection. It’s been a while since we last got a new assortment of mini donuts, so that makes the Mini Dessert Doughnut Collection that much more exciting. Plus, we think these varieties blow the other flavors out of the water! But we’ll let you be the judge.
Beginning on Jan. 11, you can get the new mini donuts that were inspired by four fan-favorite desserts, according to Krispy Kreme. Your options include Lemon Bar, Strawberry Cheesecake, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and Birthday Cake. We know, it’s impossible to choose just one. Luckily, you don’t have to.
The mini donuts are available in a four-count box, so you can try each one, or get a 16-count box to share the indulgence. They’re expected to stick around through the end of January — and then we’re predicting Krispy Kreme will be releasing Valentine’s Day donuts — so snack away!
“Coming off 2020, celebrating any and all wins — including small ones — is a way we can keep each other’s spirits up,” Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme chief marketing officer, said in a press release. “Our Mini Dessert Doughnut Collection is a great way to celebrate the little wins to bring out the big smiles that keep us going.”
This isn’t the first time Krispy Kreme has channeled desserts to come up with flavors. Last summer, we were graced with Banana Pudding, Coconut Cake, and Mississippi Mud Pie donuts. We think we speak for everyone when we say, keep these dessert donuts coming, Krispy Kreme!
