Krispy Kreme’s New Let It Snow Collection Includes 5 Wintery and Holiday-Inspired Flavors
It’s about to be a winter wonderland at Krispy Kreme! As we look forward to (or dread) the colder months ahead, the donut chain is welcoming the change with the new Let It Snow collection. Prepare for penguins, snowmen, and more!
The collection includes five donuts — three new ones, the Poppy Penguin, Snowman Smile, and Snowy Sprinkle donuts — and two that you may recognize from seasons past, the Santa Belly and Chocolate Iced with Holiday Sprinkles. No matter which you go for, you’ll be biting into a sweet, festive treat that’s worthy of leaving out for Santa Claus.
Poppy Penguin Doughnut: A donut filled with Original Kreme, dipped in icing and blue sanding sugar, and decorated with Kreme and a penguin fondant piece
Snowman Smile Doughnut: An Original Glazed donut dipped in white icing and decorated like a snowman with icing and a fondant piece
Snowy Sprinkle Doughnut: An Original Glazed donut dipped in blue icing and topped with a snowflake sprinkle blend
Santa Belly Doughnut: A donut filled with Chocolate Kreme, dipped in red icing, and decorated like Santa Claus with icing and a belt fondant piece
Chocolate Iced with Holiday Sprinkles Doughnut: An Original Glazed donut dipped in chocolate icing and topped with a holiday sprinkle blend
There won’t be much time between Thanksgiving and these new donuts, because the Let It Snow collection will be available beginning on Nov. 26. The limited-edition treats will be waiting for you until around Christmastime.
“There’s nothing like the season’s first snow to say the holiday season is here!” Dave Skena, chief marketing officer for Krispy Kreme, said in a press release. “This year, we’re tapping into the anticipating of wintry, holiday fun with our snowy holiday collection.”
The wintery donuts aren’t the only thing to get excited about. Krispy Kreme is giving away a free Original Glazed Doughnut and free small brewed coffee on Black Friday. Just hit up the shop or drive-thru and you’ll be ready to power through all that deal shopping!
