Krispy Kreme Has New ‘InDOUGHpendence’ Donuts, and One Is Topped With Firework Popping Candy
You may work hard, but Krispy Kreme’s team works harder. The beloved donut shop never fails to come out with fun new bites, especially for holidays. With the 4th of July just around the corner, you can get your hands on four different types of patriotic donuts, dubbed InDOUGHpendence Day Doughnuts. Some have of sprinkles. Some have fillings. All of them are delicious.
Beginning on June 25, you can get pick up a box (or two) of Krispy Kreme’s new patriotic donuts. Since you’ll probably want to try all four star-spangled treats, you can order the limited-edition Patriotic Dozens Box, so you’ll get to taste them all.
Patriotic Sprinkles Doughtnut: an Original Glazed donut that’s dipped in white icing and topped with red, white, and blue sprinkles
Strawberry Sparkler Doughnut: an Original Filled Strawberries and Kreme donut that’s dipped in red icing and topped with star sprinkles
Original Filled Freedom Ring Doughnut: an Original Filled Original Kreme donut with flag decoration and star sprinkles
Firework Doughnut: an Original Glazed donut that’s dipped in blue icing, hand-decorated with red and white icing, and topped with blue raspberry-flavored popping candy
“July 4th will be different this year, but delicious, red, white, and blue doughnuts in patriotic packaging are sure to help make it a happy holiday for you and your whole family,” Dave Skena, chief marketing officer of Krispy Kreme, said in a press release.
You can get the Patriotic Sprinkles Doughnut, Strawberry Sparkler Doughnut, Original Filled Freedom Ring Doughnut, and Firework Doughnut from June 25 through July 5. You know what that means! They’re a must-bring to any holiday barbecue you have for the next couple of weekends.
