Krispy Kreme’s New Heart-Shaped Donuts Come in 4 Varieties, and Strawberries & Kreme Is Involved
Sweets (and a lot of them) are a must around and on Valentine’s Day. Just like last year’s varieties, Krispy Kreme has four new heart-shaped donut flavors to celebrate the day of love. Nothing shows how much you care like a box full of sugary goodness, right?
Beginning on Jan. 31, you can order the Beary Best Valentine, Bee Mine, Cookie to My Kreme, and My Batter Half donuts. The highlights of these sweet treats are the icing teddy bear and sugar bee that go together so cutely. You can see what’s flavors are in each donut, but make sure you pay attention to the filling, because that’s where the real taste comes into play.
Beary Best Valentine Doughnut: Dipped in chocolate icing and chocolate sprinkles, and decorated like a teddy bear bear with Chocolate Kreme and icing
Bee Mine Doughnut: Filled with Strawberries & Kreme, dipped in red icing, and decorated with pink icing and a bee sugar piece
Cookie to My Kreme Doughnut: Filled with Cookies & Kreme, dipped in white icing, decorated with a chocolate icing drizzle, and topped with a confetti heart sprinkle blend
My Batter Half Doughnut: Filled with cake batter, dipped in pink icing, and decorated with heart sprinkles
“It’s been rough lately. Sharing a little love goes a long way. We want to offer everyone a sweet, simple way to do just that,” Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme’s chief marketing office, said in a press release. “And don’t worry, we took care of the Valentine’s Day cards, too. They’re built right into the box.”
The limited-edition donuts come in a “sprinkle a little love” box that includes two perforated, pop-out valentines that feature the bear and bee. A gift and card in one? It looks like we got Feb. 14 covered.
