Krispy Kreme Is Handing Out a Free Dozen Donuts and Daily Freebies for 2 Weeks to Celebrate the New Rewards Program

Between April 30 and May 11, Krispy Kreme reward members can score a dozen donuts, coffee and more for free

Krispy Kreme wants to give you some treats to thank you for buying their sweets.

On April 30, the donut spot introduced its latest, and “most generous,” rewards program, according to a statement. In honor of the new system, Krispy Kreme is handing out some freebies for members.

They're giving away a dozen glazed donuts for free to existing and new rewards members. The free treats are available to current reward members just on Tuesday, April 30. But new members have from April 30 and May 11 to sign up and score 12 free donuts.

On top of the free dozen, members will also receive a dozen days of deals, like free coffee and donuts, through May 11.

After this two week celebration, there will still be freebies for rewards members. Krispy Kreme Rewards will let customers earn 10 points for every $1 spent. Just like the old rewards system, these points can be redeemed for bakery items and drinks. For example, 150-250 points can be used for an original glazed or classic donut, coffee or hot chocolate or 1400-1700 points can get you a dozen glazed or assorted classic donuts.

Members of the new program will still score a free birthday treat, just like the old system, but will also have the opportunity to try limited-edition products for free.

Fans can sign up for Krispy Kreme Rewards on the bakery’s app or website. Current rewards members can use their existing sign-in information to log into their new account — this way their earned points can transfer into the new program. Plus, existing members will receive bonus points for every visit made in the last year.

In April, the donut chain announced its line of Kit Kat-inspired donuts. Krispy Kreme introduced three new treats, each one loaded with the beloved candy bar: Kit Kat Crunch Donut, Kit Kat Cookie Dream Donut and Kit Kat Salted Caramel Brownie Donut.

The Kit Kat Crunch takes a glazed donut, dips it in milk chocolate icing and tops it with Kit Kat pieces and chocolate pieces. The Kit Kat Salted Caramel Brownie donut, is also made up of an original glazed donut. This one is coated in brownie batter-flavored buttercream, covered with chopped Kit Kats and brownie pieces and drizzled with salted caramel. The Kit Kat Cookie Dream is the only limited-time offering featuring an unglazed donut. This one is filled with cookie dough flavored cream and dipped in milk chocolate icing. It is topped with chopped Kit Kat pieces, cookie crumbles and chocolate chips with an extra drizzle of cookie dough icing.
