Krispy Kreme Is Giving Away Free Doughnuts This Week

Plus the brand is completely revamping its coffee menu.

Some mornings, there’s just nothing better than a warm, glazed Krispy Kreme doughnut. And everyone knows that a doughnut is only served right when paired with its best friend: a big ‘ole cup of Joe.

While Krispy Kreme has been selling coffee for years, it hasn’t always been a fan-favorite menu item. Even after JAB Holding Company—the parent company behind Keurig Green Mountain, Peet’s Coffee and Tea, and Caribou Coffee—bought a portion of Krispy Kreme in 2016, the company’s coffee strategy didn’t change that much.

But now, Krispy Kreme is committed to revamping its coffee line and giving customers new and improved drinks.

“Krispy Kreme fans expect an awesome doughnut experience that exceeds their expectations. It’s time we delivered coffee worthy of pairing with our iconic doughnuts,” said Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme. “With richer roasts, better beans and exceptional taste, we’re excited for our fans to try these new coffees.”

Starting September 14, Krispy Kreme is relaunching its permanent beverage menu to feature all-new brewed coffee items (hot, iced, and frozen)—as well as adding oat milk to its menu for customers who prefer a dairy alternative.

Krispy Kreme’s menu will now feature more than two dozen new coffee drinks made from 100% responsibly sourced Arabica beans. From the new menu, you’ll find offerings like an Original Glazed Iced Coffee, a Frozen Caramel Mocha Latte, a Caramel Latte, and of course, Classic Brewed Coffee.

And, as we mentioned earlier, coffee and doughnuts go hand in hand—so, to celebrate the new launch, Krispy Kreme is giving away free doughnuts all week long. Through September 17, when you try any of Krispy Kreme’s coffee or espresso beverages—iced, hot, or frozen—you’ll receive a free doughnut of your choice. That means you can get a free Original Glazed, free Iced with Sprinkles, or even a free limited-time Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake Doughnut from Krispy Kreme’s fall menu, all with the purchase of your favorite coffee.
