Krispy Kreme Will Give You A Free Dozen Donuts Today For Its Birthday
Update, July 17, 2020 11:18 a.m.: TODAY IS THE DAY. Yes, it's time to sing Happy Birthday to Krispy Kreme and also sing its praises because you can get a free dozen Original Glazed donuts when you buy any other dozen from the chain today.
Because things have changed a bit throughout the week, and this deal is finally here, we thought we'd give you a quick rundown of what you need to know: Order a dozen donuts through the Krispy Kreme website, app, or its drive-thru and you'll receive another dozen Original Glazed for free! You can get this deal via delivery, pickup, or drive-thru. Lobbies will be closed for in person ordering and dining so don't try to do that! They're expecting lots of friends to show up so be patient and kind and enjoy!
Update: July 15, 2020 2:26 p.m. Because so many of us are HYPED for Krispy Kreme's birthday, they'll be doing things a little bit differently on Friday. If you're planning on getting your free dozen, you'll want to listen up!
On Friday, the chain is asking fans to go through their drive-thrus or order online for pickup and delivery in order to get the BOGO dozen birthday deal. Krispy Kreme shop lobbies will only be open for pickup of online orders on their birthday so you won't be able to dine-in or order inside. All other info remains the same! Get excited!

But if you're Krispy Kreme, you celebrate your birthday by giving back to others. And this week, the donut chain is celebrating big by giving out BOGO dozens of donuts.
On Friday, July 17, Krispy Kreme turns 83 and it will be celebrating its birthday by giving customers a free dozen of their Original Glazed donuts with the purchase of any dozen donuts. Even if you're not celebrating a birthday this week, this means you'll still get a treat by being able to pick up a bunch of your favorite type of donuts AND get a ton of Original Glazed on the cheap. And if your favorite donut is Original Glazed, well, that's 24 glazed donuts for the price of 12!
Not only is Krispy Kreme giving away free dozens, but they'll also be celebrating by lighting their iconic Hot Lights earlier and keeping them on later, which means you can expect lots of hot and fresh donuts to come off the line throughout the day. Have you ever had a Krispy Kreme donut fresh off the line? Perfection.
A few things you should note about this deal: It's only available on Friday when you can get it while dining in, via takeout in your local Krispy Kreme's lobby, through the drive-thru, or by ordering online or through the Krispy Kreme app for pick-up.
