With graduation ceremonies around the country being cancelled due to COVID-19, the Class of 2020 has had it pretty rough. But Krispy Kreme is here to make graduation just a little bit sweeter. The beloved doughnut chain will be giving 2020 graduates a free box of their "Graduate Dozen" on May 19, 2020. All graduating high school or college seniors need to do is dress in cap and gown or Class of 2020 gear when they (safely) pick up their doughnuts.

The curated dozen doughnuts includes some sprinkle-covered chocolate-iced and strawberry-iced doughnuts along with various creme-filled doughnuts and some original glazed donuts that have been jazzed up with colorful icing. If one free box isn't enough for you, or you want to partake in the festivities despite not having a graduate in the family, the "Graduate Dozen" box will be available to purchase May 18 through May 24 at Krispy Kreme's drive-thru windows, as well as for online ordering with pickup and delivery options.

“We feel for all of the high school and college seniors. We wish they had that moment of walking across the stage and getting their diploma,” Dave Skena, Chief Marketing Officer for Krispy Kreme, said in a press release. “We thought we could help them safely have a little fun and enjoy a special 'Graduate Dozen' on us."

Better start prepping your ultimate graduation outfit, since this free doughnut day is right around the corner!
