Krispy Kreme’s Cheesecake-Stuffed Gingerbread Glazed Donut Will Get You Into the Christmas Spirit
There are some flavors that you mostly eat during the holiday seasons, and gingerbread is among them. Krispy Kreme has been offering its Gingerbread Glazed Donut for years now just before Christmas, and luckily, this year is no different. Not only that, but it’s also bringing back the Gingerbread Glazed Original Filled Cheesecake Doughnut that was unveiled last year.
Both of these gingerbread donuts will be available at participating U.S. shops beginning on Dec. 16 for a limited time. You can’t go wrong with either one, but the cheesecake-stuffed donut has an extra special oomph that will have you drooling. Plus, it’s like having two desserts in one. But again, you’re sure to be happy no matter which one you get. You can tell them apart by checking for two white icing stripes on top — that’s the cheesecake one.

“Everyone on the nice list deserves our delicious, melt-in-your-mouth Gingerbread Glazed Doughnuts,” Dave Skena, chief marketing officer of Krispy Kreme, said in a press release. “We’re happy to bring back this holiday favorite.”
While you’re at Krispy Kreme anyway, you still have a chance to try its Nicest Holiday Collection, which includes the Festive Tree Doughnut, Present Doughnut, and Santa Belly Doughnut. These three donuts are available until Christmas Eve, so you can snag a couple boxes of them and the gingerbread varieties for a spread like no other.
