Krispy Kreme Has New Halloween Donuts And You'll Love The Witch's Brew One

Something wicked this way comes at Krispy Kreme—and we're talking about the good kind of wicked. As we gear up for Halloween celebrations, the chain is temporarily rebranding as "Krispy Skreme," and has made new donuts, cheap dozens, and free treats up for grabs.

As far as the new donuts go, starting today you can choose between the Abra Cat Dabra donut, Enchanted Cauldron donut, Bewitched Broomstick donut, and Spooky Sprinkle donut. The Abra Cat Dabra donut is an original glazed donut dipped in chocolate icing and black sanding sugar, and decorated like a cat using fondant eyes.

Opt for the Enchanted Cauldron and you'll get a glazed chocolate cake donut with kreme, sprinkles, and a pretzel on top to resemble a witch's broomstick. The Bewitched Broomstick is a shell donut dipped in purple icing, with an icing swirl, gold stars, green buttercream and another pretzel stick broomstick. Finally, the Spooky Sprinkle donut is a little more classic, as it's made with an original glazed donut dipped in orange icing and topped with Halloween sprinkles.

The Halloween celebrations don't stop there at Krispy Kreme: Starting October 16 and every Saturday following, Krispy Kreme is giving guests the chance to enjoy "Saturday Scary Sharies," a promotion that will allow customers to get a $1 dozen with the purchase of any dozen. The $1 dozens will even come packaged in a special edition box that looks like a spellbook, while supplies last.

You can claim the $1 dozens every Saturday in October starting this week, then can round out the month of Halloween, by getting a free donut at Krispy Kreme on October 31 when you wear your Halloween costume in stores. Basically, it's the best month ever to be a donut fan!
