Kris Jenner’s Safely brand makes the most luxurious smelling laundry detergent

There’s something so refreshing about the smell of clean laundry, whether you choose a fresh linen scent or try out TikTok’s favorite Le Labo hack. However, I recently started using an all-natural laundry detergent from Kris Jenner’s cleaning product brand, Safely, and it smells so luxurious. Now, I want to do laundry every single day.
OK, maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but the Calm scent really smells incredible. Safely’s Everyday Laundry Detergent in Calm has top notes of lavender, coconut milk and lemon, middle notes of tonka, heliotrope and rose, and base notes of vanilla. For me, I think the lavender, tonka and vanilla come through the strongest to create a warm, toasty smell. The brand describes it “like drinking an iced lavender latte on a warm sandy beach.”
Everyday Laundry Detergent Calm, $14
Beyond the scent, this laundry detergent is pretty powerful. It works against everyday stains like pizza sauce on a T-shirt and grass stains on jeans, to the not-so-obvious ones like self-tanner on the inside of a tank top and sweat from workout clothes. However, it’s plant-based and doesn’t use any harsh chemicals to do so (and it won’t irritate your skin).
Instead, Safely’s laundry detergent contains coconut oil-derived surfactants and natural enzymes to wash clothes clean, according to the product’s description. Plus, it’s highly concentrated, so a little goes a long way.
I use it on whites, brights, darks, bamboo sheets, cotton T-shirts, denim, activewear — pretty much everything. My laundry always comes out looking clean and smelling amazing.
When I’m done washing, I usually put my clothes in the dryer with a few wool dryer balls and call it a day. However, if I have to hang dry anything, you better believe this stuff makes my apartment smell ~calm~ as well.
Beyond laundry, Safely makes other cleaning products in its Calm scent, including hand soap and a universal cleaner.
If you’re not familiar with the brand, well, it’s time to catch up. Safely comes from none other than Kris Jenner and Emma Grede (Khloe Kardashian’s Good American business partner). The duo launched the brand in March 2021. Its goal is to be better for your home, your family and the planet. None of its products contain artificial stabilizers or dyes, and they all have natural aromatherapy scents.
Safely started with a universal cleaner, glass cleaner, dish soap, hand soap, hand cream, hand sanitizer and laundry detergent. The first set of products was originally only available in one refreshing scent called Rise, but now there’s Calm, too.
