Kris Jenner Is Launching a Kris x Kylie Cosmetics Collection on Mother's Day [Updated]

UPDATE (May 12, 2018): Mother's Day is fast-approaching, as is the release of the Kris x Kylie collection, which Kris Jenner, umm, Jennerously unboxed for us on YouTube this Friday. Though she gave us an in-depth look at the products we can expect to see on Friday, we were missing a few details, like some product names and prices, but thanks to a press release from the brand, we now have all the information for you about the famous Momager's debut makeup collection.

The Momager Lip Kollection, which Jenner previewed in her YouTube video for us, is a set of eight mini Liquid Lipsticks and Lip Glosses and will go for $42. As for the shades? They're aptly named with some of her famous phrases (as are other shades in the collection), including That's Wild, Boss, Middle Finger, Overwhelmed, Too Blessed, This is Everything, Really???, and Driving Me Crazy. Next, there's the 12 Pan Pressed Powder Eyeshadow Palette, which will also sell for $42 and includes shades I Love Myself, Gorgeous, It's an Emergency, Very Nice, Haters, Vodka Tonic, Paybacks a Bitch, Impressed, 10%, I'm Watching You, Talent, Does it Come in Black.

There's also the Four Pan Pressed Powder Highlight and Blush Palette which will sell for $48 and include It's Snowing Pussy Willows, Money Doesn't Grow On Trees, Your Sister's Going to Jail, I Raised You on Mac N' Cheese. As for single lip colors, there will be a $17 Crème Lipstick in Give Me a Kiss and a matching Lip Liner for $12.

If you're a big fan of Kylie Cosmetics or of the famous matriarch, you can get the entire Collection Bundle for $150 when the collection — excuse me, the Kollection — drops on Sunday, May 13th at 6 pm EST.

It's hard to believe that Kris Jenner, a woman who has spent the last decade in front of the camera, has never once made a YouTube video. But if there's anything that could change that, it's her ongoing temporary takeover of Kylie Cosmetics to promote her own makeup collection within her daughter's brand, which is launching on Mother's Day. In addition to "hacking" Kylie Cosmetics' Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook accounts, Jenner also commandeered its YouTube channel to post a nearly nine-minute unboxing video.

"I am so excited to share this beautiful, beautiful collab I just did with Kylie Cosmetics and my daughter Kylie, and I’ve never been more proud in my life, honestly," she tells viewers, and that's really saying something considering all the success her family has enjoyed. She goes on to thoroughly introduce fans to everything in her collection, even trying some of the products on-camera.

"We have the Pressed Powder Palette, which is highlighters and blushes,” Jenner says, moving on to say there are “eight little goodies" in the Momager Mini Lip Kollection. "And this is the Perfect Pressed Eyeshadow Palette, which has 12 eye shadow colors in it. And then, of course, the Perfect Lip, which is a lipstick, a lip liner, and voila! This is the Kris Jenner face.”

Gushing over the packaging and self-referential shade names, Jenner goes through the details of each product, starting with the Pressed Powder Palette. She generously applies the Money Doesn’t Grow on Trees highlighter from the set, exclaiming, "This is highlight on fleek! Actually blinding! Glowing to the gods!" Moving on to the Perfect Pressed Eyeshadow Palette, Jenner says, "I’ve kind of been known for my smoky eye for the last 40 years, since I started doing my own makeup when I was very, very young and always thought a smoky eye was the best eye because I knew how to do it, and you can really pump it up at the end of the day. If you’re going out at night you can make it darker and sexier and smokier."

Jenner spends the entire second half of the video enthusiastically talking about the lip products in her collection. "This is probably my favorite go-to lip,” she says of the Gimme a Kiss lipstick and matching lip liner, which she’s wearing on-camera — but not for long. She then removes Gimme a Kiss to apply shades from the Momager Mini Lip Kollection, starting with Overwhelmed, a dark brown-leaning burgundy shade, followed by an intense, classic red called That’s Wild, and then Middle Finger, an orange-toned red. "We’ve done one matte, we’ve done some velvets, and some glosses,” she says of the set's contents. "I keep this in my purse at all times because you never know when you’re gonna need a new lip."

Before reminding viewers that the collection will be available on May 13, Jenner professes her admiration for the people who do videos like this all the time. "I have a lot of respect for all you YouTubers out there, and influencers and bloggers and makeup artists because this isn't easy." But for someone who's never done a YouTube video before, Jenner definitely made it look easy, and we wouldn't be surprised if we see more videos like this from her in the future.
