Kris Jenner Is Really Happy That This Pseudoscience Thinks Her Daughters Are Beautiful

“Science” was on Kris Jenner’s side today when the Daily Mail released a study on the most beautiful celebrity faces and two of her daughters made the top 10.

The study was done using the facial mapping technique called the Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi. If you’re unfamiliar with the theory, it’s been considered to be the determining recipe for perfection used by ancient Greeks for thousands of years. According to the formula, there’s a perfect ratio (1.618, to be exact) that should be measured at different points of your face. Supposedly, the closer the symmetry of your facial features are to this, the more physically appealing you are believed to be.

Using this ratio, computer technology was able to draw out what the supposedly perfect celebrity facial features are, with the top results being Kim Kardashian’s eyebrows, Scarlett Johansson’s eyes, Amber Heard’s nose, Rihanna’s face shape, Emily Ratajkowski’s lips, and Kate Moss’s forehead.

Although Kim’s eyebrows were considered to be perfectly proportioned, her features only snagged second place on the list of celebrities who were the closest to the Golden Ratio of Beauty. Amber Heard came in first place, with Kim Kardashian in second place and Kendall Jenner coming in fifth.

Not one to miss a moment of her children’s triumphs, Kris Jenner immediately took to Instagram to spread the news and congratulate Kim and Kendall on their rankings.

“So cute! #proudmama,” Kris captioned her post, below:

While many people congratulated Kris on the beauty of her daughters, others commented on Jenner’s post with contempt towards the study in general and Kim’s high standing in the order. “This is a joke…so no black people on this list,” wrote one commenter, and another said, “Lol kim prettier than Marilyn Monroe hahaha in what universe!!”

Congrats to Kim and Kendall for being dubbed scientifically pretty — even if the science is a bit silly and outdated.
