Kylie Jenner is the youngest billionaire, that's for certain. But when Forbes called her "self-made," it sparked a debate over whether Kylie should be called that, given she is from the wealthy Kardashian family and stars on a reality show that helped give her major clout as she launched her beauty business, Kylie Cosmetics.

Kylie initially defended her "self-made" title, then later conceded to the New York Times in March that she did have a leg up. (“I can’t say I’ve done it by myself,” Kylie told the outlet's reporter when asked about being self-made. “If they’re just talking finances, technically, yes, I don’t have any inherited money. But I have had a lot of help and a huge platform.”)

But her mom Kris Jenner is still fiercely defending Kylie's self-made status. Kris was asked about it during her CBS Sunday Morning interview that aired yesterday.

Kris really went into it, saying that while Kylie had an advantage as a famous Kardashian-Jenner, she built her business on her own, and that should count.

"I think she's self-made," she started. "Listen, my girls, you can say that certain things have been handed to them. But it takes a lot of work to do what they're all doing. ...We're talking about money. And the money she's made is her own. It began with her own savings. She put her own blood, sweat and tears into it. It was her idea. It was amazing what she did, and what she showed the rest of us how to do it."

Kris said that Kylie did the funding all by herself. "Nobody gave her any financial help whatsoever," Kris said. "She saved up her own money and built this amazing business and I just feel like there's nothing not self made about that."
