Kranch Is Heinz' Newest Condiment Mashup

First came Mayochup. Then there were Mayomust and Mayocue. We thought the unholy trinity had been completed.

But, alas, Heinz announced their latest assault on condiments earlier today. Kranch, a ketchup and ranch mix, was inspired by hundreds of tweets “speculating on what the next saucy mashup would be,” according to a press release.

“When we launched Mayochup, Mayomust and Mayocue, our fans speculated on social media what they thought the next condiment mashup should be — the tweets were pouring in!” Dalia Adler, Associate Director of Marketing for Heinz, explained to Food & Wine. “Inspired by our fans’ ideas, our new Kranch sauce is a blend of ketchup and ranch that will completely change your condiment game this summer.”

Honestly, thank God they listened to the people who suggested this ketchup and ranch combo—because some of these guesses are … interesting.

Kranch will start rolling out in stores nationwide later this month with a suggested retail price of $3.49 for a 16.5-ounce squeeze bottle.

If you absolutely must have Kranch right now (hey, we’re not here to judge), you can reply to Heinz’ tweet with #KlaimMyKranch and #Sweeps for a chance to win one of the first 100 bottles.

Good luck?
