Everyone goes through style eras, but perhaps no one has had as many distinct style personas as Kourtney Kardashian Barker. When we first met her on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, it was classic glamour with a Coachella twist. Now, she's diving head-first into punk pop styling with all-black outfits and grunged-up basics. However, despite her edgy style, her manicures have stayed rather simple—regularly going for Jello nails, milky French nails, and pink pearl nails to add some contrast to her dark ensembles.

Her latest manicure was no different. While posing in her bedroom for a goth-glam maternity shoot, Kardashian Barker paired '90s supermodel nails with her all-mesh look.

Although her outfit drew us into the photo—a netted, see-though gown from her limited edition collaboration with Boohoo layered over a black bra and underwear—the supermodel nails were what made us zoom in.

<p><a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CyRD-VMpb-o/?igshid=MWZjMTM2ODFkZg%3D%3D&img_index=2" data-component="link" data-source="inlineLink" data-type="externalLink" data-ordinal="1">@kourtneykardash</a>/instagram</p>

Each of her nails were painted the same bright nude color. Medium length and natural-almond-shaped, they all had a "your nails but better" vibe that was elevated with a high-gloss shine and a finish that was just see-through enough for her natural nail beds and tips to peer through.

What makes these '90s supermodel nails is exactly what was just described—an elevated "natural" nail that adds a glamorous spin to the nearly-there polish trend. Jennifer Lopez's go-to manicurist, Tom Bachik, popularized the manicure in late 2022, bringing the look to all his high-profile clients, including Nicola Peltz-Beckham. It quickly caught on with TikTok and Pinterest alongside similar looks like glazed donut chrome and milky nails since the look is so easy to achieve, maintain, and match with everything.

Kardashian Barker also channeled the '90s with her hair and makeup. She pulled her hair up into a messy updo, leaving face-framing strands for extra drama. Peeking out from the strands was a moody bronze eyeshadow look with an earthy red shade dusted under her eyes and on her lids. She added mascara, and lined both her upper and lower lash lines. Glossy lips and nude-brown lipliner completed the look.

If you want to recreate her supermodel mani, you're in luck as it's super DIY friendly, and we have the step-by-step.

As with every manicure, start by removing any lingering polish with nail polish remover. After, apply cuticle oil to your cuticles to soften and push back. Then, cut and file your nails to your desired length before buffing them for an even surface and prepping with your favorite base coat.

After that, combine two coats of OPI's Love Is In The Bare ($18) and one coat of OPI's Put It In Neutral. When paired together, the combination looks just like Kourtney's. However, any sheer beige-pink color you have on hand should work.

When the polish dries, add a coat of your favorite top coat and a dollop of nail oil, and your nails will be fit to walk the runway.
