Kourtney Kardashian cares a lot about what she and her family eat and drink. She’s even gone so far as to call out the food served at her own kids’ school, fearing that it lacked the proper nutrition, and her pantry wars with sister Khloe are the stuff of legend. So when Kourt recommends something, especially on her blog Poosh, we tend to take it a little more seriously than what we might see in, say, an Instagram sponcon post. Now that fall is finally a little glimmer of hope in all of our eyes, it made us start craving the types of warm, cozy beverages you might drink when the weather starts to cool down, and luckily Kourtney has some great recommendations.

Up first? Green tea. “Green tea is the grassy and fresh ritualistic elixir of the ages,” Kardashian says in a blog post, and we’d have to agree with this flowery sentiment. When she wants a simple sipper, Kardashian recommends Yogi Green Tea Super Antioxidant, and organic green tea that contains grapeseed and amla extracts, which supposedly help fight free radicals in the body, and lemongrass, licorice, and jasmine for flavor.

When she wants something a little more elaborate, Kardashian has been known to whip up matcha green tea lattes for her entire office. It’s a simple recipe that includes matcha powder (Kardashian uses Ujudo Japanese Matcha Green Tea Powder), almond milk, and a little bit of organic maple syrup. Served in the morning on a chilly day, it’s the perfect way to relax while also getting the health benefits of green tea.

At the end of the day, Kardashian unwinds with a cup of adaptogenic tea, like Buddha Teas Ashwagandha Tea. Adaptogens are herbs that can help the body deal with stress, and Ashwagandha is known to help with a slew of other bodily functions too.

Of course, not all of us have the pantry space for boxes and boxes of tea. In that case, why not whip up a batch of Kardashian’s homemade apple tea? It can be served hot or cold, and sounds totally delicious: apples are simmered with cinnamon, cloves, ginger, mint, and other spices to create a heady tisane that smells like fall.

Serve with a batch of Kris Jenner’s famous brownies, and you’ve got a meal that’s all about balance…right?
