Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s unborn baby is doing okay after a health scare that left the pregnant Poosh founder temporarily hospitalized.

Kardashian opened up about the incident today on Instagram.

“I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life,” her post began. “I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this.”

In the post, she shared a black-and-white photo of Barker holding her hand as she rested on a hospital bed.

“As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery. I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant,” continued Kardashian, who shares three kids with ex Scott Disick. “Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing. 🙏🏼🤍.”

Late last week, Blink-182 announced on Instagram that Barker had to leave the band’s tour just ahead of European concert dates to rush back home to Kardashian due to an “urgent family matter.” No one had disclosed any more details on the matter until Kardashian’s announcement today.

Kardashian and Barker, who married last year, are expecting their first child together; they announced the happy news in June.
