Just by looking at Kourtney Kardashian Barker's Instagram feed, it seems that she has a go-to signature hairstyle – I mean, it's only natural to wear what you love and know suits you best. And judging by the looks of things, she loves a sleek gelled-to-the-Gods updo bun with long, wet-look strands of hair framing her face.

Kourtney debuted this hairstyle in her most recent Insta post. Pairing the the dark brunette shiny hair with a vinyl black dress and super high heels, much are very much giving Buffyverse's Drusilla meets Maila Nurmi, aka Vampira vibes. She even captioned the post: "playing dress up in my trailer @kardashianshulu 🦇🖤". The emojis say it all, really.

Of course, other than the obvious vampiric comparisons, this look is also reminiscent of our year nine secondary school days. 'Why?' you may ask. Well, I don't know about you but circa 2006 many British teens wore their hair in this exact style – either down and tucked behind the ears with gelled strands of hair framing the face or slicked back in a ponytail/bun with the same two pieces of hair at the front. Just think characters from Skins, Waterloo Road or even Hollyoaks.

Kourt rocks the hairstyle so much that she even wore this exact look on her (multiple) wedding day(s). Yep, it was a long ol' weekend of celebrations but I suppose we can't get much more confirmation of what her fave hair look is than what she wore on her big day.

Oh, and if you still don't believe me (which, IDK why you wouldn't but hey-ho), see more evidence below.

TBH, I could go on, but with over 4,000 IG posts, I think we could be here all day... and night.

Who'd of thought KKB would regularly sport the look we all wore more than 10ish years ago? Turns out we were well ahead of our time...
