Kourtney Kardashian Has an Interesting Keepsake in Her Bedroom From Her Son Reign

Kourtney Kardashian has shared so many aspects of her parenting journey with her fans over the years. And in a recent interview with her little sister Khloe in Interview Magazine, Kourtney opens up about a number of topics regarding both her children and her overall parenting style.

The sisters teamed up for the chat to promote one of Kourtney’s latest ventures, her Lemme Sleep gummy, so the interview was largely pegged to bedtime-adjacent topics.

Not too far into the chat, Khloe asks Kourtney about what she keeps in her “secret” bedside drawer. The answer — or at least the answer Kourtney was willing to share — has to do with her youngest child, 7-year-old Reign Disick.

Kourtney: I will tell you one thing that’s in my secret drawer…

Khloe: I’m really happy I pressed the issue.

Kourtney: I have Reign’s hair, because we didn’t cut his hair until he was five. So I have his long braid and I smell it often.

Khloe: Oh my god. Okay. That’s nice.

Honestly, that is sweet. So many parents keep hair from their child’s first haircut in a very special place. Kourtney just happened to win the competition, because she clearly has so much hair from her baby boy’s first chop. And smelling it? Perhaps unconventional, but we can very much relate. Baby hair smells so good! Kourtney and Reign are clearly a very close mama-and-son pair, and she recently posted some sweet end-of-summer images showing the strength of their bond.

Khloe went on to ask her sister about how often Reign and his siblings, 10-year-old Penelope and 12-year-old Mason, join Kourtney and her husband Travis Barker in their bedroom.

“How do you keep the kids out of your bedroom, Kourtney?” Khloe asked.

“I don’t,” Kourtney said. She later added, “We have an open-door policy in this house.”

Her sister Khloe kindly responded, “Good for you.”

It’s no surprise Kourtney still keeps an open-door policy in her room. Previously, she’s spoken about how she actually shared a room with her ex-partner Scott Disick and their kids; she’s among the many celebs who share rooms with their little ones.

But whether all those celebs have their kids’ hair in their nightstand remains to be seen.
