Kortney and Dave Wilson Have a Brand New HGTV Show and Fans are Beyond Thrilled

• HGTV has been launching a number of new television shows in 2020.

• Most recently, the channel released Making It Home with Kortney and Dave, a series geared toward turning houses into homes with strategic financial planning.

• Kortney and Dave Wilson, formerly of HGTV’s Master of Flip, are the hosts of the show.

Kortney and Dave Wilson are back and better than ever!

You may remember the former couple as the hosts of Masters of Flip, an HGTV Canada house-flipping show appeared for two seasons in the U.S. On (and off) the show, Kortney and Dave worked together to flip over 150 homes, and now, they’re putting that knowledge to even better use.

On Monday, July 6, HGTV released Making It Home with Kortney and Dave, a new-to-the-U.S. series (which was originally released in January 2020 in Canada) geared toward turning fixer-upper houses into homes, with Kortney and Dave once again at the helm. In the preview for the show, Kortney introduces herself and Dave, explaining that their goal is to teach couples where to splurge and where to save. And, after watching the first episode of the new series, it’s safe to say they know what they’re doing.

In the episode, Kortney and Dave met with Michael and Elizabeth, a couple who lives in Michael’s childhood home. Where Michael felt sentimental about his home, Elizabeth was struggling to feel like it was her own. That’s where Kortney and Dave stepped in.

By the end of the episode, Elizabeth was in tears over the new space, which features gorgeous navy and white kitchen cabinetry, a side-by-side stainless refrigerator, and more storage than she could hope for, as well as new flooring and an open floor plan throughout.

Fans were thrilled to see Kortney and Dave back on U.S. television: "I cannot wait to watch tonight! Finally Kortney & Dave back on HGTV USA!!!🇺🇸" one viewer commented. Another commenter wrote, “Great transformation,” followed by a series of applauding emojis.

One more fan added, "So HAPPY to see Kortney & Dave back with a new show !!!! Such a great couple !!! I HOPE HGTV will let them sing and perform once in a while. Such talented performers !!!!"
