“We saw a Kona Ice truck in 2012 in Ohio and pursued the opportunity, moving to Colorado Springs specifically to open Kona Ice,” Ray Mowry said.
Ray explained that working with schools is a big part of their business model. “We work with over 100 schools on special events, Field Days, athletic events, etc., and always donate a portion of sales back to the school.”
