Kona Ice dispensing free shaved ice at several Chicagoland locations for some Tax Day relaxation

“No taxation without relaxation.”

That’s Kona Ice’s slogan for Monday’s National Tax Day, and the brand is once again doing its part to help citizens relax during what can be a stressful time.

Every year, according to a news release, Kona Ice hosts National “Chill Out Day,” sending its trucks around nationwide to hand out free shaved ice.

Why will the IRS answer the phone quicker this Tax Day?

“It’s a way to cure the community’s stress related to Tax Day, because there should be ‘no taxation without relaxation,'” Kona Ice says in the release.
