Although there’s already enough tea within all of the Real Housewives franchises to go around (I mean, have you been watching the Beverly Hills ladies as of late?!), Bravo has already shifted its focus to a place far, far hotter than California. Enter: the wonderful world of The Real Housewives of Dubai! We don’t know about you, but this new cast is sure to introduce big drama, and TBH, we’re not above getting invested.
Just two weeks ago, Bravo dropped the trailer for its latest show, and we’re already feeling allll the feelings...namely intrigue. Check it out for yourself below:
Now that the show has finally premiered and we’re collectively on this journey together, let’s meet Nina Ali, Chanel Ayan, Caroline Brooks, Sara Al Madani, Lesa Milan, and Caroline Stanbury, shall we?
Nina Ali

About her: Nina was born in Lebanon but moved with her family to Austin, Texas, when she was 4 years old. She spent most of her life in the United States before making her way to Dubai shortly after her 2010 wedding to husband Munaf Ali, and she has lived there ever since! I mean, can you blame her? LOL. It’s legit the City of Gold. Now, Nina mainly works on the fruitcake company she cofounded while raising her two girls—Sophia and Nour—and her son Ayan. S’cute!
Chanel Ayan
Age: 43

About her: Chanel was born and raised in Kenya but moved to Brazil when she was 18 to pursue modeling. Now, she is one of region’s most recognizable models and socialites and has amassed worldwide recognition as the face of luxury brands like Dior and Hermès. Chanel also runs her own successful talent agency and is in the midst of developing a makeup and skincare line alongside celebrity makeup artist Toni Malt called AYAN Beauty by Toni Malt. After moving to Dubai, Chanel and her husband Luca Salves had a son named Taj. Now a teenager, Taj has followed in his mother’s footsteps and made a name for himself in the modeling industry.
Caroline Brooks

About her: Caroline hails from Newton, Massachusetts, but has called Dubai her home for more than 11 years now. And although the show just premiered, we already know that she’s the definition of booked and busy. Having once served as the marketing manager for her ex’s group of companies, she became one of the first female real estate directors in the UAE after their split. Now, she’s the executive director of a real estate brokerage firm. Oh, and she’s only days away from launching Glass House Salon and Spa, which she says is “a luxury salon that caters to women of all colors, hair textures, and skin types.” She’s also mom to an adorable bb boy named Adam who shows up in the cutest Instagram tributes every so often.
Sara Al Madani

About her: Sara is an Emrati local and serial entrepreneur. She started her first successful business at 15, and she has since launched a number of restaurants plus a fashion line. In 2014, she also just so happened to become the youngest member of Sharjah’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry after being chosen by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Muhammed Al Qassimi. NBD! Other business ventures of Sara’s include a creative consultancy called Social Fish, and she’s also mother to her 6-year-old son, Maktoum.
Lesa Milan
Age: 33

About her: While she has now lived in Dubai for over eight years, Lesa was born in Jamaica and grew up in Miami, Florida. Oh, and fun fact: in 2010 she was crowned Miss Jamaica International. She’s now the founder of the youth educational brand My Little Makers, which produces toys, books, and media specifically designed for young children. Lesa also works as the chief designer and founder of her maternity fashion brand Mina Roe and can count fellow moms Beyoncé, Serena Williams, Katy Perry, and Gigi Hadid as fans of her clothing. Lesa shares three baby boys with husband Richard Hall, who is a British financier. Busy, busy!
Caroline Stanbury

About her: If Caroline looks like a familiar face, chances are, you’re a true Bravo stan (dw, we’re right there with ya). After starring on the network’s show Ladies of London a few years back and making an extended appearance on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, Caroline is back! But her life looks a teensy bit diff these days. And by “teensy,” we mean anything but.
For starters, when everyone met her on Ladies of London, Caroline was married to financier Cem Habib, with whom she shares three children. Now, she’s tied the knot to former Real Madrid soccer player Sergio Carrallo. Plus, she’s the host of a podcast called Divorced Not Dead, she’s a luxury brand ambassador, and she recently launched a new shoe collection. Obsessed!
