In 2022, Louis Tomlinson released his sophomore album Faith in the Future which leaned into an alternative pop-rock sound as a departure from his boy band days. The former One Direction member opened up about solidifying his signature sound in an interview with Alternative Press, saying, "I knew who I was in One Direction, but I'd never thought of who I am on my own as [a] solo [artist]. I was so in love with being in the band that I never really had those thoughts."

The 31-year-old singer also revealed that he had filmed the process of creating Faith in the Future, which would ultimately become a documentary that also serves as a love letter to his fans. "I know every artist says this, but I've got a deep f--king connection with my fans. I think of it as one entity," Louis told Alternative Press. "I was 18 when I was first in the band, and we've grown up together." In moments of doubt, he turned to his fans for words of encouragement and support that inspired him to go after what he truly wanted while making his second solo album.

On February 8, 2023, Louis announced that the documentary, titled All of Those Voices, will be released in March. "This has been something I’ve been working on for years, I’m really excited to finally put it out into the world. I’ve said it a million times but I’m lucky enough to have the greatest fans an artist could wish for, and as you always go above and beyond for me, I wanted to share my story with you in my own words," the former 1D member wrote on Instagram.

Here's everything we know about Louis Tomlinson's All of Those Voices documentary, from its release date, trailer, and more.

When does Louis Tomlinson's documentary come out?

All of Those Voices was released on March 22, 2023 in theaters.

How to watch Louis Tomlinson's All of Those Voices documentary

The documentary was releasing exclusively in theaters, so you'll have to snag tickets to a screening. In his announcement, Louis shared that ticket sales will begin on February 22, a month before the film's release, on AllofThoseVoices.com.

Is there a trailer for All of Those Voices?

Yes! Louis shared the official trailer for the documentary to Instagram Reels on February 22, the same day tickets went on sale. The trailer dives into Louis' journey of self-discovery as a solo artist. "I thought for me, it was the band or nothing," the singer said of One Direction's hiatus. "It was hard for me to imagine myself on my own. I didn't see a way back — not even musically, just to do anything," he continued.

The singer also teased the upcoming doc with a new clip on March 14 where he talks about his proudest moments from being in the record-breaking boy band.

"When I think about how proud I am of One Direction, I think it was as a collective, but if I think about what makes me the most proud as me, as an individual in that band, it's definitely having the most writing credits," he said. "That makes me feel, you know, important to the band, and that's all I ever wanted when I [was] a young lad."

Louis has writing credits on 1D tracks like "Fool's Gold," "Perfect," "C'mon, C'mon," "Temporary Fix," and "Last First Kiss," to name a few. Watch the full teaser clip below.

Have the 1D boys said anything about it?

Don't text — our Directioner hearts are dying, because Liam Payne showed up to the premiere of All of Those Voices to show his support for Louis in the cutest way. Liam attended the UK premiere with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy, and although he didn't pose for any red carpet pics with Louis, the two boys *were* photographed leaving the premiere together. 🥹

After their mini One Direction reunion, Liam took to Instagram to write a long, supportive message to Louis. "Seeing the world through your eyes last night was the most beautiful thing to experience," he started. "My neck hurts from how much Im looking up to you right now you were already my friend and brother but getting to look through that window into your world and mind I just extends that respect I have for you."

Liam continued, "What you’ve dealt with and how you held it all inside !! I’m so sorry I was so out of my mind and I didn’t do better for you, I feel ashamed in those moments to not be as good of a friend as you have been to me, at least I have time now and I’m me again so will try and make amends."

The singer went on to share how the movie left him "emotionally drained," realizing that he was watching Louis' lived experience, and expressed how thankful he was that Louis was "part of a small group of people that literally saved [his] life."

"You dragged me out of something so dark I’ve never shared it but your approach is something I admire and aspire to so I can one day do the same," Liam wrote.
