Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor is nearly at the halfway mark, but it's already had two villains emerge: Cassidy Timbrooks and Shanae Ankey. ICYMI, Cassidy was sent home by Clayton during episode three for bragging about having a side piece waiting for her at home.

But Shanae continues to stick around, despite causing some major drama. While Shanae has made it very clear that she’s not on the show to make friends, she particularly zeroed in on fellow contestant Elizabeth Corrigan.

The constant negative comments from Shanae has had plenty of people wondering, “When does Shanae leave The Bachelor, again?” Because, really, there’s only so much viewers can take.

Here’s what to know so far.

Warning: spoiler alert! Stop reading here if you don’t want to know what happens on season 26 of The Bachelor!

Why were Shanae and Elizabeth fighting?

Shanae’s apparent hatred for Elizabeth showed up during episode two, where she started making all kinds of *intense* comments about how much she disliked Elizabeth and how "mean" she was (with zero evidence to back those comments up). Shanae even cut Elizabeth’s legs out from under her on a group date competition and then told Clayton that Elizabeth was two-faced.

Elizabeth spoke to Shanae about her comments and found out that Shanae was upset because Elizabeth didn’t acknowledge her during a conversation with another contestant.

"It's really hard for me to have multiple auditory inputs because I can't process the information. I have ADHD. I've had it really bad since I was a kid,” Elizabeth explained. “I was probably just really trying to concentrate on what Ency was trying to say to me, and maybe you had said something in the middle of her saying something and I just, I can't, like, hear it."

Shanae then proceeded to make fun of Elizabeth’s condition in front of everyone, and in interviews with producers, suggesting that Elizabeth had made the whole thing up.

Fast-forward to episode three, and Shanae ended up eating almost all of the shrimp that Elizabeth had made for the contestants. When people seemed a little annoyed by this, Shanae cooked up more shrimp and offered it to people, but claimed she was snubbed by Elizabeth.

Shanae later told Clayton that Elizabeth was “bullying” her, and then gloated to the cameras after their chat that she “had” Clayton. Clayton then spoke to Elizabeth and asked her to shut down the drama.

OK, so when does Shanae go home on The Bachelor?

According to Reality Steve, Shanae gets eliminated after going on a two-on-one date with Genevieve Parisi in episode 5. He shared all the deets on Instagram:

Before that, Shanae reportedly crashed a group date party from the winning team on week four and broke their trophy (as seen in the show’s trailer), which definitely didn't win her any fans.

Shanae and Genevieve ended up taking a Maid of the Mist boat to Dufferin Island Park in Ontario, Canada, and Genevieve left with the rose.

Um, why did she stay so long in the first place?

Now, there's finally an answer—from The Bachelor himself. Under one of Clayton's recent Instagram posts, someone commented, "Wear blue in your next photo if you were forced to keep Shanae against your will," according to Us Weekly.

It just seemed like a funny comment, until Clayton posted again the next day. This time? He was wearing blue shorts. "YOUR SHORTS ARE BLUE," the same user wrote, and Clayton replied: “That is a correct observation!”

Veeeeery sketchy, IMO. And, it seems like Clayton might be blaming the show's production team for keeping Shanae around. So, there you go.
